Sunday by the Sea

Let's spend a Sunday by the sea and in the Psalms:

The floods have lifted up, O Lord, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.
~ Psalm 93:3-4

Thou rulest the raging of the sea: when the waves thereof arise, thou stillest them.
~ Psalm 89:9

May you have a blessed Sunday filled with the peace of the Lord who is mightier than the waves of the sea!

(With thanks to my dear friend, Amanda, for suggesting Psalm 89:9 for a Sunday by the Sea post!)

Oh, I am so happy you could use that Scripture, my friend! Like I said, as soon as I read it I thought of these posts :) And the one you chose does go with it perfectly! Yes, the waves may be mighty and they may rage, but the God we serve is mightier than the waves and His gentle whisper is all that is needed to still their raging. What a mighty, powerful, awesome God we serve!!

Thanks again, my friend :)

Blessings,
Amanda

Amanda,

Thank you for sharing this verse with me, and thank you for thinking of me and this blog! :) I'm sorry I didn't write a devotional post to go along with it, though!

And thank you for sharing your thoughts! Yes, we serve an amazing, mighty, loving God!! He is so good, and I'm so glad He gave us the Scriptures. :)
