Farewell to Summer

First, congratulations to the winner of her choice of one of Deborah Vogts' novels:

Barb Shelton (barbjan10)!

I used Random.org's "List Randomizer" to pick the winner. Thank you to those of you who became new followers, and welcome to "Seasons of Humility!" And thank you to Deborah once again for offering to do a giveaway here for our "End of Summer Bash!"

Barb, be on the lookout for my e-mail! ;)

Now, summer doesn't officially end until late September, but for those of us on school-time we have to say farewell to summer vacation. But what an amazing summer vacation this has been! I don't know about you, but I feel like I've been so blessed this summer, from time spent with my family, to amazing trips, to my summer job, and so much more! God is so good!

I hope your summer vacation was great, as well! And here's to a magnificent fall--yet another season we can share together at "Seasons of Humility!"

I am so sad! I don't want Summer to be over. It has to be my favorite season and I am not ready for the warm weather to go away. But you are right, school is nearly here and edits are around the corner, so farewell to Summer indeed.

Casey,

Oh, I know, I know. :( I love the autumn, but I'm not ready to say goodbye to my family and my home. I hope this next season is great for you, though, and not too hectic!

Amber, Great week! I'm looking forward to mystery week. I love suspense novels, but not too scary.

Julia,

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it--it was so fun interviewing all these authors! :)

And no worries about Mystery Week. There won't be anything really "suspenseful;" think more along the lines of cozy mysteries. ;) And I'm super excited about Mystery Week, too! I have something different (and hopefully fun!) in store for that week, too, which will require lots of reader participation! :D

I love the end of summer! Is that a collective gasp I hear across cyberspace?! Autumn is my favourite season and I feel so charged and creative once we shake off the yucky humidity of summer. It feels like a rebirth of sorts and I get my energy back...so...Yahhhooooo to Fall!!!!!! Hope you have a great school year, Amber.

As you know, I'm at school already so my summer is already over :( It's still pretty sunny and kind of warm though! I hope it stays that way awhile.
