Thank you so much to Casey at Writing for Christ for passing this award on to me! It's lovely! And thank you for the kind compliment, Casey. You have been such an encouragement to me!
From Casey, here is a description of the award: "This award is presented to those bloggers that encourage and support up and coming blogs."
And here are the rules:
"1. Put the Rose Award either on a post or your blog.
2. Pass this award on to 3 or more bloggers.
3. Link to the winners of this award in a post.
4. Leave an encouraging comment on three or more blogs.
5. Add a link to the award from whom you were given it."
Here are the wonderful bloggers I'm passing this award on to:
- Kav @ Best Reads (2010) [Thank you so much, Kav, for supporting my blog! Your blog is great, and I appreciate your honest and helpful reviews!]
- Cerella @ The Cerella Life [I know I keep passing on awards to you right and left--but that's just how much I enjoy your blog! Your posts are so much fun to read, and I hope to be reading more of your books in the future! Plus, I really appreciate you letting me interview you--over and over again!]
- Renee @ Black 'n Gold Girl's Book Spot [I know your blog is already well-established, but I so enjoy reading it! And you have no idea how much I appreciated your encouragement and advice when I started my blog. You're the greatest!]
Be sure to check out these blogs if you haven't already! They're fabulous!
Update: I'll plan on sharing some more from my Sunriver trip on Monday, and then I'm leaving for Washington D.C. on Tuesday!!! And I just have to tell you: You will NOT want to miss this Friday! Julie Lessman has some great information to share with all of you, and it's going to be a fantastic weekend! (I know I keep reminding you of this, and I'm sure you don't need me to do so. But can you tell that I'm excited?)

You are welcome, I consider you an encouragement as well. :) Great blog choices, BTW, and I will NOT miss Friday. Julie is a dear friend and I can't wait to see what she says. :D
Thanks, Casey! And aren't they great blogs? :)
Happy to hear you'll be here Friday! I agree that Julie is a great friend, and I think you'll love what she has to say! (Plus, there just might be a great scene from A Hope Undaunted that she'll share...but I won't say anything more!)

Congrats to everyone....the award is really appropriate considering the whole rose state thing.
Hannah
Thanks so much Amber. I started out as a blog lurker but, in spite of myself, I seem to be blossoming right along with that rose. LOL. However,I happen to be the most technically-twittlepatted person alive on this planet and it amazes me somedays that I even know how to switch on my laptop...come to think of it, when I first got it it took me about half an hour to figure that one out. Seriously, for someone who works all day on computers and bouncing around the internet I am woefully ignorant of all things techie...
True Confession: my simplified description of how a computer works: gnomes. Yep, those little redcapped, white-bearded fellows who hang out in gardens a lot. Well they have a high-tech version who hang out in your computer systems and they are the real reason google pops up when it should and your current WIP gets saved on a regular basis. Of course, they can also be mischievious as well and we all have experienced the disasters of their practical jokes. I don't have to go there, right? So where am I going with all this?
Oh yeah -- the award...I managed to post a picture of it on my blog...and a link to your blog, Amber (but not a pretty one)and another not-so-pretty link to my nominee, but I fear that's as good as it's going to get. (blushing furiously)
Congrats to you, Amber. And Kav, Cerella and Renee! I love all Y'all blogs! And what a beautiful award.LOL
I can't wait for tomorrow, Amber. Julie is my favorite author (yours too, right?LOL) and I just love to read anything and everything she writes. And especially if you're interviewing her. It's going to be so much fun.;)
Anyways, see you tomorrow!
Love Ya,
Ashley
HANNAH: Thanks for stopping by and offering your congrats! :) Be sure and check out Kav's recent post, too!
KAV: Oh, you make me smile! I was more than happy to pass this award on to you, but I hope it didn't stress you out! ;) I think you did a great job posting about it, and no need to blush!
And can I say that I love your description of how computers work? With all of the crazy things computers do, one can't help but wonder if there are some little people in there having fun playing practical jokes... ;)
ASHLEY: Thanks, Ashley!!! You're so sweet. :) And I'm so glad to hear you're excited about tomorrow--I'm sure you know that I am! It's hard to pick a favorite author, but I absolutely adored A Passion Most Pure, and I am psyched for A Hope Undaunted!
And I think you're going to love the interview! :D

Thank you Amber, I'm honored by your words my friend. Your so sweet :) And prayerfully one day I will have a blog. But I need the Lord to teach me to balance my time a little better before I take on anything else ;)
Until tomorrow...
Blessings,
Amanda Stanely
