Psalm 121

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepth thee will not slumber.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

~ Psalm 121 ~

Lovely use of pictures and verses, Amber. I'm a huge nature lover, so you've nourished my inner "tree hugger." :)

Christina,

Thank you! I love nature, as well - God's creation is so beautiful! I'm glad my friend asked me to take a walk with her yesterday evening (we're both in the same Birds & Botany of Western Oregon class). :)

Amanda,

I think it's one of my favorites, too, as well as some of my family's favorite. :) Definitely a "blessed assurance" - it's so comforting and amazing to know that God is watching over us, and that he gave us Scripture to communicate His truth!

So glad this post encouraged you! I hope you have a beautiful week, too, and thank you so much for stopping by! :)
