In celebration of my review of
Love Finds You in Hershey, Pennsylvania and my upcoming author interview with Cerella Sechrist, I decided to deem this week "food week" on my blog! Here's a "taste" of what you can expect this week:
- Review of Love Finds You in Hershey, Pennsylvania (already posted earlier today!)
- Post about favorite Food Network shows/food movies
- Author interview with Cerella Sechrist (specific date for this is yet to be determined)
- Giveaway!
- Post about music/songs celebrating food
So please come back and visit often this week! Your comments and participation are what will make this week fun!

To get the fun started, I'll share my sad food story: Last semester I wanted to help bake a cake for my friend's birthday. But there weren't that many dishes left in the second floor kitchen, and I didn't realize my roommate had a one-time-use cake pan, so I thought I could bake the cake in a loaf pan. BAD IDEA! See the cheesecake pictured on the right? Thank you, Walmart, for saving the day!

Oh boy, that story will live on as an example of the terrible conditions of dorm kitchens. :)
Sounds like fun, and I LOVE giveaways! :D
LOL!! I love this cake story!! It reminds me of heroine from LFY Hershey - Sadie - and the kind of dessert fiascos she gets into. And I love the idea of a blog Food Week, too! Brilliant. :) Can't wait to share my interview here sometime soon!

Food Network shows???? Oh my gosh, I'm so excited!!!!! I LOVE the Food Network! Especially Alton Brown ;) Even ask Lindsay, I go on about him all the time! I look forward to a yummy week!
Thank you all for your kind comments! :) I'm so glad that you're excited; it will make this week that much more fun!
Lindsay--Isn't it so true? This story should be used to encourage people to wash their dishes so they won't get confiscated!
Cerella--Thanks so much for visiting! And I'm glad you like the story; it does remind me of Sadie! At least I wasn't baking for a competition. ;) And I'm excited about your interview, too!
Ariel--I heard from Lindsay that you love Food Network! I'm excited, too! And Alton Brown is too funny! :)
Thanks again for all your comments! Hope to see you around again soon!
