There is something profoundly moving about being in a canoe on a mountain lake beneath the stars. I was blessed to have such an experience last summer when my mom and I went with a group with Wanderlust Tours. It was so quiet, so peaceful, and so thought-provoking. Tonight let's see what it's like "to try and understand the serenity of a clear blue mountain lake."

Being out in God's creation, realizing how gentle and yet how mighty our Lord is, is a moving experience, indeed. Consider this:
"He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite." ~ Psalm 147:4-5
Those are some amazing truths to contemplate as we look up at the glittering, distant, and numerous stars above!
