They must be so pretty and delicate. Small projects are always the best bet for me, since I'm famous for starting a cross stitch project and not finishing it.

I also love to crochet doilies. I've made 4 of them, but haven't done one in awhile. Now that the kids and I are on Summer break, I have plenty of time to make one (or two). Thank you for inspiring me to get my hook and thread out. : )Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06111576612128164411noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4163733401418146284.post-38313686791248591582011-05-27T14:12:37.765-06:002011-05-27T14:12:37.765-06:00Casey,

A friend tried to teach me how to crochet once, but that didn't get very far... ;)

~Amber

P.S. And yes, cross-stitching is special to me because my grandma taught me. :)

That's neat that your nana taught you how to sew! (That's a skill I should probably learn someday...) And those bracelets sound so beautiful, in more ways than one! :) That is so wonderful that she is a two-time survivor--God bless her!!

Yes, see you tonight! :)

~AmberAmber S.http://www.seasonsofhumility.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4163733401418146284.post-78700403592186408172011-05-27T13:58:43.947-06:002011-05-27T13:58:43.947-06:00Renee Ann,

I do love to knit though and have a project under way at the moment, so I will bring that. I'm anxious to feel the yarn beneath my fingers again. :)Caseyhttp://enjoyingthewritingcraft.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4163733401418146284.post-6077492362387122842011-05-27T10:49:43.879-06:002011-05-27T10:49:43.879-06:00Amber, this is so pretty!! And so special because your grandma taught you :) I'm super close with my nana too and she taught me how to sew - not that I'm very good at it but I can fix a seam should the need arise! ;) I've never cross-stitched, though. It looks like fun! I love crafting and making things with my hands! Makes gifts more special, I think :) I make breast cancer awareness bracelets in honor of my nana, who is a 2 time breast cancer survivor! They're all glass beads with different pink designs and some have pretty pink ribbon lampwork detail on them! It's fun and its for a good cause that is dear to my heart :)

I'm sure your grandma is gonna love this! Hope you have fun finishing it!

See you tonight :)
Blessings,
AmandaAmanda Stanleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16372107574684016349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4163733401418146284.post-46443468197011670572011-05-27T04:07:01.362-06:002011-05-27T04:07:01.362-06:00Beautiful, Amber!
