Cover Reveal: The Lost Heiress

Since reading Love Finds You in Annapolis, Maryland, I've been a fan of Roseanna's White's historical fiction. I could pinch myself to think I actually get to work for the company that published her Culper Ring series. :) (I believe Circle of Spies is my favorite, but they're all wonderful!)

Today it's my great pleasure to help reveal the cover for her upcoming release with Bethany House, The Lost Heiress!

About the Book

Brook Eden has never known where she truly belongs. Though raised in the palace of Monaco, she’s British by birth and was brought to the Grimaldis under suspicious circumstances as a babe. When Brook’s friend Justin uncovers the fact that Brook is likely a missing heiress from Yorkshire, Brook leaves the sun of the Mediterranean to travel to the moors of the North Sea to the estate of her supposed family.

The mystery of her mother’s death haunts her, and though her father is quick to accept her, the rest of the family and the servants of Whitby Park are not. Only when Brook’s life is threatened do they draw close—but their loyalty may come too late to save Brook from the same threat that led to tragedy for her mother.

As heir to a dukedom, Justin is no stranger to balancing responsibilities. When the matters of his estate force him far from Brook, the distance between them reveals that what began as friendship has grown into something much more. But how can their very different loyalties and responsibilities ever come together?

And then, for a second time, the heiress of Whitby Park is stolen away because of the very rare treasure in her possession—and this time only the servants of Whitby can save her.

My Thoughts

Stunning! The cover is so warm and inviting, like stepping straight into a sparkling ballroom. The flourishes and the model's hair style and jewelry add an extra touch of class and beauty. And yet there are also dark shadows in the background and even in the model's hair, as well as a look on her face that suggests contemplation - of escape or scheming, fear or hope...who can say? All in all a lovely portrait of history and mystery combined.

I love the cover. I'm very much looking forward to this release! I've only read one book by Roseanna (Book #1 of the Culper Ring series) but it was so good. I do need to finish Culper Ring series.

Alyssa,

You should totally finish The Culper Ring series! (And I'm not just saying that because I work for the publisher. ;)) I really enjoyed Books 2 and 3; definitely a great series for historical romance fans! If you loved Book 1, I think you just might like the other 2 even more.

The Lost Heiress also sounds like a great read, and I'll look forward to hearing more about it!

Meagan,

Isn't it, though?? And I'm the same way - I get super excited about beautiful covers, which make me want to read/review the stories if only to gaze upon the loveliness on my real or virtual shelves. ;)

I'm not sure what Roseanna's policies are on review requests and influencer teams, but you can contact her through her website. She's super sweet, and perhaps she'll have some influencer copies from Bethany House to share. :) Or are you on NetGalley? Because Bethany House puts a lot of their e-galleys on there!

Thank you, everyone!! Amber, I don't think I realized you worked for Harvest House! They're awesome people, so I bet you love your job. =)

The Culpers were so much fun to write--I think book 3 is my favorite of them. Though I tend to say that about the most recent one, so who knows, LOL.

Thanks so much for celebrating the reveal of my next cover with me! I'm so in love with it. My Brook has waited 20 long years to have an official face, so this is sooooo exciting for me! =D

Oh, and Meagan, I will need reviewers, yes! If you like my author page on Facebook or sign up for my newsletter, I'll put out a call when I'm collecting names. Lots of slots to fill, LOL. That'll be in a few months.
