Wanted: Host for August's Christian Fiction Book Club Meeting

Do you enjoy discussing books? Do you like hosting blog events? Have you read Digitalis by Ronie Kendig (or can you read it by August 13th)?

If your answers are "yes," then we want you to comment today! I have the privilege of picking the next Christian Fiction Book Club host, so I'm on the lookout for someone who's interested in the job. I just hosted July's discussion of Pompeii: City on Fire by T.L. Higley, and it was really neat!

Thanks for posting Amber. If no one volunteers, I'll ask a couple of Ronie Kendig fans from twitter if they'll consider hosting this one.

Oh, and they don't have to already have read Digitalis, as long as they think they can read it by August 13 for our next meeting.

Joy,

No problem! I'm sure there's a Ronie Kendig fan out there somewhere just itching to discuss her book... :) I have read Digitalis, so if you really can't find anyone, though, I'm game for another go around.

As for your second comment, I figured that was probably true, so I'll make the change to the post right now. Thanks!

It is fun to host the bookclub. I hope someone comes through. I will be getting home from vacation the night before so won't be able to host. But I am planning on participating. I'm reading it right now.

Julie,

I agree! :) I hope someone volunteers, as well, but so far there aren't any takers...

I hope you have a great vacation, and that's sweet of you to still want to participate in the book club meeting!

Hey Amber, we have a taker! I tweeted to the three biggest Ronie Kendig fans I know on twitter and the first to respond was Julie at My Own Little Corner of the World. (http://molcotw.blogspot.com/).

Thanks for hosting this month, the torch has been passed. :)
